Serving at Beacon Church

Participating through service is one significant aspect of life together in any local church. We desire to see our church flourish through the God-given gifts of our people on Sunday mornings and throughout the week.

Beacon Kids

We serve our families by partnering with them as they help their children become disciples of Jesus Christ through friendship with God and one another. We offer Christ-centered, age-appropriate programming for children from birth through second grade. We believe that we are called to work together to help children grow as disciples of Jesus; if you'd like to serve in Beacon Kids, we invite you to complete the Beacon Kids volunteer application.

Connections, Hospitality, Set-up & Tear Down

We serve one another by cultivating a hospitable environment for our Sunday Gathering. Volunteers who serve in Connections, Hospitality, Set-up & Tear Down do everything from welcoming people in the parking lot, at the door, and inside the building to brewing coffee for our parishioners and setting up chairs and Beacon Kids check-in. Our goal is to remove as many obstacles as we can from people hearing the gospel. If you'd like to serve in Connections, Hospitality, Set-up & Tear Down, contact us.

Home Groups

Making fully-formed disciples of Jesus is the goal of our mission. We believe that being a disciple means depending on Jesus and doing what Jesus would do, and Home Groups are one of the most important ways we make disciples at Beacon Church. Home Groups thrive under good Home Group leadership. If you have a hospitality gift and desire to cultivate an environment of discipleship in your home, fill out our Home Group Leader application.

Worship, Production, and Liturgy Team

We serve the church by leading its people in joyful, obedient, and Biblical worship through song, Scripture, and liturgical elements. We seek to obey God’s command to worship both “in Spirit and in truth” (John 4:24) and to “be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart” (Ephesians 5:19). Volunteers serving in the worship, production, and liturgy ministry participate by singing, playing an instrument, running the sound booth, making Pro-Presenter slides, reading Scripture, or writing liturgical elements of the Sunday service. If you would like to use your gifts in one of these ways, fill out our Worship, Production, and Liturgy application.
