Visiting a new church for the first time can be intimidating, and we want to remove as many barriers to hearing the gospel and participating in life at Beacon Church as we can. Below are a few things to know if you're visiting Beacon for the first time.
Where are you located?
We meet at 300 W Bedford Euless Rd, Hurst, TX 76053. We're in the smaller building just south across the parking lot from Shady Oaks Baptist Church.
What time should I arrive?
Our Sunday service begins at 10 AM, and we recommend arriving around ten minutes early to get in, find your seat, and get settled. We offer coffee and donuts for all of our parishioners.
I have kids. Do you offer any children's ministry programming?
Beacon Kids offers Christ-centered, age-appropriate programming for children from birth through second grade during our Sunday Gathering. Beacon Kids check-in opens at 9:45 AM, 15 minutes before service begins.
What should I expect once service starts?
Each Sunday, we worship God through song, prayer, the preaching of God's Word, receiving the Lord's Supper, and other liturgical elements. Becoming a disciple of Jesus means participating in service in an active way, not merely consuming it as content. We believe you'll be drawn in by the wonder of God's character and the beauty of the gospel. Our services usually last between 75 and 80 minutes.
